Dear Weary, Worried One

Dear Weary, Worried One

Dear weary, worried, one: there’s a lot on going on right now, and you’ve found yourself staying up at night trying to sort it all out, but even here, may you know this to be true: you don’t have to. You’re allowed to fall into rest here, even though you do not know what is going to happen yet. There is absolutely no way of knowing what tomorrow will look like, but you are free to live fully and make the most of this life—breath into breath, thought into thought, taking it all one at a time, feeling the grace pouring in on your heavy, burdened mind. Experience peace that goes beyond all understanding in this glorious inner life...learning night after night, day after day, it is okay to take time to be okay. It is okay to rest, taking slow and deeper breaths, even when there are all too many things that are still so uncertain.

Sincerely,

Morgan Harper Nichols
